How much will it cost?

We prefer to provide our quotations after we have an in home consultation with you. Our price varies from home to home based on size, frequency, location, and the scope of the services performed. - back to top

How do I pay?

You can simply leave a check on the day of your cleaning made out to Maids Express. Alternatively, you can pay via credit card and have the payment automatically applied on the day of your cleaning. - back to top

Why don't you have a 40 point checklist like the other companies?

Since everyone's home and budget is different, it makes no sense to use the same checklist for each customer. That's why Maids Express specializes in custom cleaning, and generates an individual checklist for each job using our specialized computer software. - back to top

Do I need to be home for you to clean my house?

You do not need to be home in order for Maids Express to clean your house or apartment. However, if you will not be home you need to make arrangements with the office to allow access to your home. - back to top

Is it safe to leave a key with Maids Express?

Of course it is. Your key will be stored in a lock box in our office, and will only see the light of day on your scheduled cleaning day. It will be returned to the lock box at the end of the day, where only upper management will have access to it. - back to top

What do I do if I have an alarm system?

You can either leave it off on your cleaning day, or you can assign a code to Maids Express which we will store in a password protected file.

How do I know I can trust the staff of Maids Express?

All of our cleaners have undergone extensive background checks prior to hiring to ensure that they are legal to work in the U.S.A. and do not have a criminal background. Also, every employee is required to go through our training program before entering the field.

How many people will clean my house?

It all depends on the size of your home, and the scope of the service you have requested. Every team has a Team Leader, and occasionally they may be joined by an Area Manager and/or a Quality Assurance Manager.- back to top

Do I need to supply my own cleaning products and equipment?

It is not necessary to supply your own cleaning products and equipment. However, if you request that we clean with your supplies we will gladly do so. - back to top

Will I always have the same team cleaning my home?

Typically you will unless a staff member is sick on the day of your cleaning, in which case another employee will substitute for them. - back to top

What time will Maids Express be at my home?

Typically we do our cleaning between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. However should you request, our special services team can handle projects outside of these business hours. - back to top

How should I prepare for a Maids Express cleaning?

Unless you use our Home Organizer service, we ask that you put any clutter away prior to our arrival. This includes items on the floors, countertops, and tables. - back to top

What should I do with my pets?

We prefer that you place your pets in an area of the house or yard that is no part of our cleaning routine. Also, please advise our office with any special instructions regarding your pets. - back to top

Is Maids Express insured and bonded?

Yes we are fully insured (general liability and workmen's compensation) and bonded. Our policies cover Maids Express, our employees, and our customers. Upon your request, we can furnish proof of insurance from our office. - back to top

Am I responsible for workmen's compensation and employment taxes?

That is another of the perks of using our service; Maids Express is responsible for these liabilities. - back to top

What happens if something in my home is broken during the cleaning process?

To encourage our staff to work in a cautious manner, we have several employee incentive programs to help prevent breakage from occurring. However, should something break we will fix or replace the item. It is also a company policy that each cleaning team has a camera phone and breakage report form on hand to document the occurrence. - back to top

What is the Maids Express guarantee?

The Maids Express guarantee is 100% satisfaction, or we will come back to fix the problem within 24 hours at no cost to you. However, if there is an issue, we request that it is reported to our office within 24 hours of the cleaning.

How do I reschedule my cleaning appointment?

Simply call the office two days before your appointment to reschedule. Rescheduling or cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled cleaning are subject to a $25 fee.

What happens if I lock out Maids Express?

We will attempt to contact you to see if there is a hidden spare key. Unfortunately, if we cannot gain entry to perform the cleaning service you will be assessed a $25 lock out fee.

Your friends and family! We'll even give you a discount for every weekly cleaning customer you send our way. Beyond that, you should contact our office and let management know that our staff has once again gone above and beyond! - back to top
